About this dance
This Wednesday- something dope!! A community set 🫂
If you didn’t know- we have a community bank collaborative playlist where folks can share songs they would like to dance to or ones that particularly move them. The playlist is 13 hours in length currently and a total mishmash of genres and feelings (basically the ecstatic experience).
This Wednesday the set is a special mix of the community’s jams and favorite hits. Mixing and organizing this one was one of my favorite experiences of my facilitator journey yet.
When we are out on the dance floor I have such a love and appreciation for each and every person that walks through our doors. Witnessing you dancers in your expression and authenticity- it adds zest and depth to this human experience. This playlist is such a encapsulation of that feeling. It is a beautiful tapestry of who and what Boise Ecstatic Dance is- a wacky, groovy, deep, loving, and intentional group of human beings (and a community I’m the most proud to be aligned with).
